DescriptionAdvertising card for Roll, Thayer & Williams showing lady wearing a corset. Front of card says: "Adjustable Duplex Corset / Manufactured only by the Bortree Manufacturing Company / For sale by Roll, Thayer & Williams" and "copyright by Bortree Manufacturing Company." Back of card says: "Adjustable Duplex Corsets, Manufactured by the Bortree Mfg. Co." and "Why these corsets have conquered all competitors. They are adjustable over the hips by strap and buckle, and can be made to fit any form instantly. They have no bones to break over the hips. They are made with double seam, and will not rip. They have double bones and double steels. Money refunded for any corset not satisfactory." Further wording is not readable because surface is abraded. Address given on front of card: Kansas City, Mo. No street address is given.
