DescriptionAdvertising card for Buford & George Imp. Co., agents to the "Rock Island Plow Co./ Successors to B. D. Buford & Co., Rock Island, Ills.." Front of card shows a portrait of a woman in profile. Card is cut in the shape of a fan. Front of card has damage obscuring text but says: "Patent applied...Sacke[tt,] Wilhelms & [Betz]ig, New York." Back of card has advertising copy about "The Buford Oblique Wheel Landside Sulky...'The King of Sulky Plows'.." It has images of this plow, the "Buford Steel Beam Clipper," and "The Buford Tongueless Cultivator," and the Rock Island Plow Company's buildings. A faint stamp on back of card identifies the Buford & George Imp. Co. as agents in Kansas City, Mo. No street address is given.
