Two identical advertising pamphlets and paint samples for the Lewis Paint & Glass Co. Pamphlets fold in four parts and are damaged. Front has image of paint cans and flowers and says: "Lewis Paint & Glass Co. Prop's Great Western Paint Works. Kansas City, Mo. Manf'rs of Prepared Paint Ready for Immediate Use. Made from Pure Linseed Oil, White Lead & Zinc. All kinds of Iron-Clad, Roofing and Barrel Paints on hand and for sale. Also all grades of Lubricating and Miners' Oils at wholesale..."" Front lower right corner has number L. 176. Inside shows paint color samples and has much advertising copy. Back provides more advertising copy. At the bottom it says: "Hinds, Ketcham & Co., N. Y." One section says: "References. The undersigned, having used on their buildings the Paint manufactured by Lewis Paint & Glass Co., have no hesitation in recommending it to the public for general use...Bullene, Moores & Emery, Wholesale Dry Goods. / Meyer Bros. & Co., Wholesale Druggists. / Geo. H. Nettleton, Gen. Mgr. Ft.S.&G.R.R. / L. K. Shafford, Roadmaster,.."" / Ramsey, Millett & Hudson, Printers.." Address given on front as Kansas City, MO.
