Front of card says: "Doggett Dry Goods Co. Are Headquarters for Black and Colored Dress Goods and Silks. Do You Trade There? If not Have You Given Them A Fair Trial?" Lower left corner has number B 788 and says: "Copyright 1890 by H. T. Koerner." Back of card has a description of San Francisco, a list of other cities in the advertising card series (St. Louis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Washington, Boston and New York), and long advertising copy for the business naming departments: "Dept. L, Silks. Dept. M, Colored Dress Goods. Dept. N, Black Dress Goods." Address is not given.
