DescriptionFull photograph of St. George's Hospital which was built on a barge in 1889. The boat was hauled to the shore near the Monarch Vinegar Works to have the bottom caulked. Man on the end at the left of the barge is Keeper, James McLain. Others identified in the photograph are Charles Miller, Albert, Charles Brewer, and W.S. White.
