DescriptionPortrait of Edwin Nesbitt, a Seargent in the Army 506th Parachute Infantry. Nesbitt was born on April 6, 1917, in Riverton, Nebraska and enlisted in the Army on August 4, 1942. He was wounded in action on November 15, 1943 and returned for hospitalization in the United States on April 22, 1943. He died from his injuries on August 24, 1944.
