NotesThe text found under his name in the scrapbook which is believed to have come from his remarks reads:

"Unfortunate that there has grown up a distinction between educational and commercial television...All television is educational in a sense. We have a moral obligation to realize its influence on the lives of children and entire population...

The television and radio stations have an obligation also to the viewers and listeners to maintain a high degree of taste. Public schools and T.V. stations might work out a plan for in school listening at given times. History, plays, reading and other type programs might be presented to the children."
