AbstractExcerpt describes the history of the "TWA Moonliner," a 40-foot tall model of a rocketship bearing the TWA logo. The rocket was created as a part of the "Rocket to the Moon" attraction at Disneyland, and eventually ended up on the roof of the TWA Building at 18th and Baltimore in Kansas City.
NotesThe rocket was removed from the building in 1962, and dismantled in 1968.
