Description also of Charles's father John Yost (a building contractor) and Charles's father-in-law, William Beedle (1832-1884), a settler of Kansas City in 1858 from Virginia becoming a victim of Bushwhackers and Union soldiers at his residence at 12th and Grand Avenues before retiring to Johnson County, Kansas. |
