AbstractReprint of an article from Kansas City Star clippings (June 26, 1927) about Edward Porterfield, Jr., designer and operator of the airplane manufacturing plant at 24th and Harrison Streets in Kansas City called the American Eagle Aircraft Corporation, established in 1926 and averaging an airplane per day.
NotesThe same group who own the airplane factory are associated in another aviation company, the two organizations having interlocking directors. It is the Porterfield Flying School Corporation where pilots are taught the trade of the air.
