AbstractPhoto and article about "the Pembroke-Country Day School" and the book being written about its history by "Cecil Coad, oldest in years of service on the Pem-Day faculty." Started at the Wornall home and moved around 1911 "to a new building at 420 West 57th street especially designed by Mrs. Ingram Hook" (Mary Rockwell Hook) before being moved to about State Line Road and Ward Parkway in 1913 with Mrs. A. Ross Hill as head.
