AbstractPhotos, illustrations, and article about the festivities planned for the Kansas City Centennial in 1950, with the dedication of Starlight Theater, "two parades in the downtown area, the pageant, a costume ball the night of the anniversary, a revival of the Epperson Megaphone Minstrels, a water ballet at Swope Park Lagoon, an aviation show, industrial exhibition at the Auditorium running from June 4 to 11, and a replica of early Kansas City to be constructed across from the auditorium."
