AbstractArticle describes rehabilitation efforts underway in 2002 at the Shawnee Indian Mission State Historic Site in Johnson County, Kansas. The project, which includes reinterpretation of exhibits as well as rehabilitation of the mission's historic buildings, is funded by grants from the National Park Service, Johnson County Heritage Trust Fund, and the Kansas Department of Transportation.
