AbstractPhotograph of and information about Junius Groves, who was born a Kentucky slave in 1859 and came to Kansas in 1879. In 1884, Junius bought land near Edwardsville in the Kaw River valley, and by 1907 was reputedly the largest grower of potatoes in the country.
