| Abstract | Les Indiens Osages was published in France in 1827 and was written to publicize the arrival of six Osage Indians traveling in that country. This 36 page publication gives insights into the French-Osage connection and gives documentation to the American presence in the Louisiana Territory. This article includes portions of the book which touch on the Osage Indian way of life. |
