Not available online
TitleBird' Grave--Tenor and All
AbstractBrief item calling for the replacement of Charlie "Bird" Parker's headstone in Lincoln Cemetery in Kansas City. According to the author, the headstone "embarrasses our city" by displaying a tenor saxophone instead of an alto saxophone, the instrument on which Parker was a pioneer.
