AbstractArticle describes the nationally recognized modern art collection of Jerry and Margaret Nerman, and plans for the creation of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at Johnson County Community College. The Nerman Family was led to Johnson County Community College in part by their affection for Bruce Hartman, director of the JCCC gallery of art.

Article includes architectural renderings of the proposed museum's exterior and gallery space, which is scheduled to open in 2007.
