AbstractArticle traces the present-day trail from El Reno, Oklahoma (Fort Reno) to Crawford, Nebraska (Fort Robinson). The path follows that of the 750-mile, 44-day trek of the Northern Cheyenne Indians led by Dull Knife, Wild Hog, Little Wolf, and Old Crow in escaping from the Darlington Agency in 1878.
