TitleKansas City, Kansas Church Recovers from Floods/Flight
AbstractCentral United Methodist Church at 933 Argentine, in the Armourdale area, has survived several floods since it opened its second building in 1924. Flood damage from 1951 and suburban flight almost caused it to close its doors in the 1990s, however. In 1994 former and current members joined together to restore the church which now provides a variety of services to the community.
