TitleBroken Windows Aren't All They Fix
AbstractReview of accomplishments of the Downtown Community Improvement District instituted April 9, 2003. It was noted that crime statistics had dropped in all categories. The program was launched by Bill Dietrich, the CEO of the Downtown Council, and Sean O'Byrne, the director of the Downtown Community Improvement District. The success of the CID is propelling it to branch out and they are negotiating with the River Market Business Association to expand its services to that area.
