TitleLong's Hall
NotesGeorge Long constructed the two-story brick building at 509 Main Street in 1856. The lower floor was used as a store room or office and the second floor as a public hall. It was finished with a stage, oak seats and a coal oil chandelier. Some of Kansas City's earliest theatrical performances were given there.
