| Notes | A 102-unit housing development at 25th and Brooklyn Avenues, created in 1944 for black war workers, was sold by the Kansas City-Saint Joseph Catholic diocese to a development group. The development, known as the Brooklyn project, was erected on an abandoned Catholic burial ground known as Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. |
