NotesThe Centurions are a leadership training group of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. Top 5 of the 84 ideas: (1) developing the 18th & Highland area into a "major jazz and entertainment area," (2) developing the West Bottoms into "an agricultural shopping center for the world," (3) implementing "a true mass transit system," by rail through Union Station, (4) a city "cattle drive" for tourism, and (5) an "Equal Rights Amendment" for both public and private developers.
