AbstractArticle featuring a copy of a water color painting of the Junction as it appeared in 1847 by Nellie Corum, from a description in a paper by Leanah Wheeler (also known as Mrs. G. B. Wheeler or Leanah Jackson), describing the later intersection of 9th, Main, and Delaware Streets (later yet only of 9th and Main Streets after urban renewal in the 1950s-1970s). Also depiction and description of the Jacob Ragan residence built at Gillham and Armour Boulevards before Ragan's arrival in Kansas City in 1836, etc.
