NotesHistory of the school: Founded in 1917 by Dr. Ellsworth Haydn Trowbridge, Sr., at 2827 Forest Avenue. Name changed to Midwest Children's Center in 1965, according to the Kansas City Directory. Moved to 6330 Swope Parkway in June 1969. Closed in May 1972.
