AbstractBrief description about the collapse of the "large three-story building in the Metropolitan Block, McGee's Addition, owned by G. C. Bingham," killing four of the nine women prisoners inside the building being used as a makeshift prison guard house. Incident led to Quantrill's raid on Lawrence.
