TitleCable Railway in Kansas City
NotesOn June 15, 1885, the cable car era was opened in Kansas City by the Kansas City Railway Company. Its designer was Robert Gillham. Its route was west from Woodland Avenue along 8th Street to Grand Avenue, with a jog south, along 9th Street to Union Depot. The last run of a cable car in the city was on October 13, 1913.
