AbstractPortrait and obituary for Frank Howe (1849-1909), a prominent Kansas City architect and native of Massachusetts coming to Kansas City in 1885 and opening an architectural office that year as a partner of Henry Van Brunt. Listing of his numerous architectural projects and buildings here and description of his later career, joining the firm of Hoit & Cutler in 1904 after Van Brunt's 1903 death, becoming president of the Kansas City Symphony, and dying at his home at 1707 Jefferson Street in 1909.
