Illustrations of the former homes of Judge John Philips at 2501 Troost Avenue and of Walton Holmes at 15th and Troost Avenues, as well as portraits of the following 1880s socialites: (1) Mrs. W. B. Mumford, (2) Mrs. Milton Welsh, (3) Mrs. J. S. Reber, (4) Mrs. John Green, (5) Mrs. John Thompson, (6) Mrs. Effie Hall, (7) Mr. Clarence Kenyon, and (8) Mr. Frederick Glover.
