AbstractPhotos and biographical article about Claude Williams, or Fiddler Williams, a 92-year-old jazz fiddle (or violin) musician re-starting his musical career in Kansas City after a car accident. Description of his life and career, born in Oklahoma in 1908 and coming to Kansas City in 1928 as a member of Andy Kirk's Clouds of Joy, then going on to perform "with Count Basie, Mary Lou Williams, Lester Young and Charlie Parker."
