AbstractPhoto and biographical article about Dan Sigler, a blacksmith in the Northeast residential district "for nearly 25 years making practical pieces from iron and other materials but still find[ing] time to create some abstract works, too." Starting out in blacksmithing "in the early 1970s after a trip to Missouri Town 1855 where he was captivated by an exhibit" by a blacksmith and going on to create residential gates, fences, and signs for local residences and businesses as well as art works "on exhibit at the Cultures without Borders travelling [sic] art show," etc.
