Description of his father, Orville Remick, Sr., a building contractor coming to Kansas City in the 1880s as a "partner in the building firm of Remick & Stone," builders of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church, Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, and several Quality Hill residences.
