AbstractPhoto and obituary for Allen Swanson, or Swede Swanson, "59 years old, who became a well-known sportsman ["trapshooter"] in Greater Kansas City even though he was confined to a wheel chair most of his adult life." Paralyzed in a 1936 construction accident before founding in 1951 "the Swanson Jewelry and Appliance store at 1511 Central avenue, Kansas City, Kansas" with residence at 532 Westvale Road in Kansas City, Kansas.
