AbstractFile containing a photo and information on Pearl Lange Schuler, or Pearl Schuler (ca. 1889-1956), a local poet and women's club activist, with residence at 6607 West 80th Street Terrace in Overland Park, Kansas. Native of Saint Joseph, Missouri coming to Kansas City in 1920 and having her 1942 poem "Pussy Willow" set to music by Sir Carl Busch, "internationally known composer and 'father of symphony music in Kansas City.'" Also former "chairman of Kansas City's first Teen Town" and "the first editor of the club magazine" for "the Business and Professional Woman's club of Kansas City."
