| Abstract | After almost 80 years serving downtown Kansas City, the Italian Gardens restaurant closed its doors. A family-owned restaurant for five generations, Italian Gardens served many of the city's prominent people as well as nationally known entertainers. It was founded in 1925 at 13th and Walnut streets, but in 1933 moved to 1110 Baltimore Avenue continuing there until it closed December 2003. |
