TitleAuto Thefts Status Quo
AbstractArticle discusses auto theft in the metro area. It states that "in 2003, only 2,781 auto thefts were reported in Kansas City. In Historic Northeast, however, the number of car thefts remained the same: 600 for both 2002 and 2003." The Indian Mound neighborhood has seen a decline recently. Follows with a discussion on the problem of arresting and prosecuting persons involved with auto theft.
