| Title | Kc's Efforts Come Down to Street Level |
| Abstract | The Chicago architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, will team up with Young & Dring, a local landscape architecture firm, to design a unified streetscape for downtown. The project will be implemented gradually. The first round of projects are the 12th Street streetscape, Wyandotte to Locust; the Wyandotte-Main streetscape from Ninth to 11th streets; the Broadway streetscape, Sixth to 12th streets; the 14th Street streetscape, Wyandotte to Oak; and the Library District streetscape. Much of this work will be done in conjunction with the bus rapid-transit line being planned by the Aea Transportation Authority. |
