AbstractArticle about local race car driver Masten Gregory. A new book entitled "Masten Gregory: Totally Fearless" has been written by Michael J. Cox. Gregory raced at Indianapolis as well as in Europe in the 1950s-60s. He was born in Kansas City in 1932 and died of a heart attack at age 53 in 1985. He was called the Kansas City Flash and the Kansas City Comet.
NotesPerhaps Masten Gregory's biggest win was the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans with co-driver Jochen Rindt.
