| Abstract | Article about local race car driver Masten Gregory. A new book entitled "Masten Gregory: Totally Fearless" has been written by Michael J. Cox. Gregory raced at Indianapolis as well as in Europe in the 1950s-60s. He was born in Kansas City in 1932 and died of a heart attack at age 53 in 1985. He was called the Kansas City Flash and the Kansas City Comet. |
| Notes | Perhaps Masten Gregory's biggest win was the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans with co-driver Jochen Rindt. |
