| Title | Fish Story |
| Abstract | Editorial poking fun at Congressman Sam Graves' opposition to a plan to restore some of the Missouri River's natural ebb and flow. Supporters of the plan, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and some environmentalists, argue that raising the level of the river a few feet in the Spring and lowering it a few feet in the fall would nurture the habitats of two endangered species--the pallid sturgeon and the interior least tern. |
