| Title | A Bayer Overhaul: Move to LionsGate Among Tourney Changes |
| Abstract | Former Champions Tour has been renamed the Bayer Advantage Classic and has moved its venue to the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park. The Champions Tour was at Loch Lloyd in Belton for eight years, Tiffany Greens in Kansas City for fours years, and two years at The National. The last two years the event has been called the Bayer Advantage Celebrity Pro-Am. Beginning with the June 2005 tournament, all ticket proceeds will go to Children's Mercy Hospital. This fills the gap left when Tom Watson announced that June 2004 would be his last Children's Mercy Hospital Golf Classic. |
