AbstractThe Liberty Memorial World War I museum is set to open December 2, 2006. The dedication ceremony is outdoors, starting at 11 a.m. with the Fort Leonard Wood Army band playing. Speakers will include the French ambassador to the United States and local officials. A biplane will drop rose petals and 100 doves will be released. Article includes an edited interview between the Kansas City Star and British historian, Sir John Keegan.
