| Title | The Sheffield Car & Equipment Company |
| Abstract | The "Postcards of Historic Northeast" feature for this issue is the Sheffield Car & Equipment Company. According to city directories from around 1911 the company was located at the Blue River and the Santa Fe Railway tracks. There appears to be no listing in the directory after 1927. The author surmises that the company may have been bought by the Kansas City Terminal Railway or the property acquired by the Sheffield Steel Corporation. |
