TitleBocce Ball, Lawn Bowling Northeast Style
AbstractIn the "Castle's View" column, the game of bocce ball is discussed. This lawn bowling game was once a very popular sport with the Italians who settled in the Northeast area. It is still popular in this area today. There are still two outdoor courts in Columbus Park and indoor courts at the American Sons of Columbus building at 2415 Independence Avenue.
