| Abstract | The Raphael Hotel is now under new management, recently bought for an undisclosed price by Lighthouse Properties LLC of Salina, Kansas. The 123-room hotel has been placed on the top of the list for the 500 best hotels in the world as chosen by Travel + Leisure magazine. The Pistilli family has owned the hotel for the past 30 years. The Raphael, located at 325 Ward Parkway on the Country Club Plaza, dates to 1927 when it opened as the Villa Serena apartments.
