AbstractArticle describing artist Alexander Austin's addition of Rosa Parks images to his Martin Luther King mural at Linwood Boulevard and Troost Avenue. Austin, who also painted the mural located at 58th and Troost ("Break the Chains of Ignorance: Educate"), added Parks to the Linwood mural to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her December 1, 1955 arrest for not giving up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama bus.
