Nichols earned a degree at the Kansas City Art Institute, but has been self taught mostly. She is a part of the Nichols Lunch (39th and Southwest Trafficway) family. Her business is called Personal Works of Art and her work is for sale at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art gift shop, the Blue Gallery in the Crossroads Arts District and The Pearl at 1818 McGee Street. Article includes examples of her work.
