Not available online
TitleAnother Charter Chance
AbstractArticle concerns Kansas City charter revisions which are to be voted on in August. "Sitting on 1.7 acres of park property, the Fire Alarm Exchange Building at 22nd and Gillham has been for sale for years. Any sale would have to be approved by voters, per the Kansas City Charter. A new ordinance passed last week would designate proceeds from the sale to restoring the Women's Leadership Fountain on The Paseo at Ninth Street, if approved by voters August 8, 2006."
