| Title | Brookside Fixture Closes Its Doors |
| Abstract | The Dime Store located in Brookside has apparently closed for good. Located at 314 W. 63rd Street, it was owned by Bob Arfsten. After his death in 2002, his niece attempted to keep it open with new merchandise and extended hours. Other Brookside businesses hate to see it go. |
