He was head of King Hershey, a Kansas City law firm specializing in real estate development and finance. "He served as mayor of Independence from 1974 to 1978, was executive assistant to then Missouri governor Kit Bond in 1981 and 1982, and was director of the Missouri Department of Revenue from 1982 to 1985." |
