AbstractArticle reports the honoring of City Market area leader Mel Mallin upon the 25th anniversary of the founding of the River Market Business Association. Mallin and others are credited with helping to create "Kansas City's version of Greenwich Village" out of the collapsing River Quay of the 1970's.
